Find Help

women

A critical issue right now in the state of Utah relates to women and higher education. Many leaders and citizens within the state have expressed concern that Utah is below the national average when it comes to women enrolling and completing postsecondary degrees. This page is designed to assist Utah women of all ages who are considering attending college for the first time or returning to college after a break. It will link you to a variety of resources that include programs, services, information, and assistance that can provide you with support in various ways—depending on your needs.

Specialized Resource Lists

Locating available and appropriate resources can be difficult and frustrating and 2-1-1 Information and Referral strives to ease the process.

You are welcome to make copies of the resources lists below and distribute them to any person that needs assistance. Please remember that many of these services change phone numbers and addresses frequently. We will update them as often as needed, but be sure to print out a new copy for distribution every six months. Old and outdated information will only frustrate those seeking help.

Many of the lists are available in Spanish and are included in the last section titled "Listas de Recurso en Espanol".

If you have any questions, suggestions, updates, comments or changes, please call us at 2-1-1.

Please visit the United Way of Utah County for lists of available resources in that area.
